Groundnut or Wild Bean [Apios americana] found near Fletcher Park on 20 July 2014. It’s a member of the Pea (Fabaceae) family. Newcomb’s Wildflower Guide, pages 108-109, states it blooms in summer in moist thickets. USDA Plants Listing: Apios americana
