Slender Gerardia or Slenderleaf False Foxglove
Slender Gerardia [Agalinis tenuifolia] found at Fletcher Park on 7 September 2015. It’s a member of the Figwort (Scrophulariaceae) family and Newcomb’s Wildflower Guide, pages 254-255 states that it blooms in summer and fall in dry woods and fields.
